DNA extracts from different sample types are suitable starting material for the Prove-it™ assays. Reagents and devices necessary for the sample preparation and DNA extraction are not currently included in the Prove-it™ assay system. However, we have tested several automated and manual DNA extraction systems with successful results. Recommendations for DNA extraction are available in the kit manual or from Mobidiag support.
