The clinical performance evaluation study of Mobidiag’s Prove-it™ Herpes test is ongoing in several hospital laboratories. The test performance with distinct viral strains can be reliably verified with the broad patient sample material tested in this international multicentre study. Mobidiag aims at receiving the CE-IVD mark for the product and releasing it for the markets during the 2nd Quarter of 2009.
